This year’s conference will be based out of Ocean City, MD and will cover stations and USLSS history in Delaware, Maryland, and Virginia.

Thursday, October 23rd, 2025
As a group, we will travel by bus to Lewes and Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. We will have the opportunity to see the original 1884 Lewes Station Boathouse, the Lightship Overfalls, the original 1878 Rehoboth Beach Life-Saving Station (now a private residence), the 1938 Lewes Coast Guard Station, and the original 1876 Indian River Inlet Life-Saving Station.
A boxed lunch will be provided. Dinner on your own.
Friday, October 24th, 2025
We will travel by bus to tour several sites on the Eastern Shore of Virginia. We will be escorted onto NASA's Wallops Island to see the exterior of the original 1933 Wallops Island Coast Guard Station. We will then travel to the Barrier Islands Center to learn about the history of the USLSS on Virginia's barrier islands.
A box lunch will be included for the day and dinner is on your own.
Saturday, October 25th, 2025
We will stay local to the Ocean City area on Saturday so transportation is on your own. We will tour the original 1891 Ocean City Life-Saving Station and the original 1878 Pope's Island boathouse. We will also hold our annual meeting and hear from several local guest speakers.
A box lunch and a banquet dinner will be included for the day.
