False Cape Station House

The False Cape Station House was built in 1897-1898
This Quonochontaug Station House was designed by George R. Tolman
Station closed in 1937 and abandoned on 1946. Station house acquired by a private owner in 1961 and moved a short distance south of the station. In June 1969 was destroyed by fire when it was struck by lightning.
