Station was closed in 2003 and a new station house was built on an adjacent lot. Station house survives and is the Elizabeth Lane Oliver Center for the Arts.

Station house is owned by the City of Frankfort, MI which obtained it from the Coast Guard through the Land to Parks program. It was renovated in 2011 and is leased to the Elizabeth Lane Oliver Center for the Arts.
