The Grand Marais Station House was built in 1938
This Roosevelt Station House was designed by U.S. Coast Guard (P.H.P. & D.K.R)
Station closed in 1980 at this site. Station house survives and is part of Pictured Rock National Lakeshore.
Station house is used for seasonal employee housing, and as storage for Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore's historic museum collection and archives.
