Station closed in 1937 and abandoned in 1946. Station house survives and is the maintenance headquarters for Island Beach State Park.

Station house was renovated ca. 2005 by the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection for Island Beach State Park and is used as the park maintenance headquarters.
