This Floating Station House (Floating Station) was designed by USLSS
Station closed in 1936 at this site and moved to a new location. Station house does not survive.
Station house was built by Howard T. Cook under the supervision of John McCoggin at Jeffersonville, IN, across the Ohio River from its future duty station at Louisville. Station was placed into commission on October 22 1881.
