North Beach Station House

The North Beach Station House was built in 1884
This 1882 Station House was designed by J. Lake Parkinson
Station closed in 1952 and turned over to GSA in 1970. Station house abandoned and destroyed by fire in 1965.
Assateague National Park moved the station?s boathouse to the site of the North Beach Life-Saving station to be used as an interpretive center.
