Station closed in 1995 and replaced by the Brunswick Station. Station house survives and has been restored as the Coastal Georgia Historical Society’s Maritime Museum at the Historic Coast Guard Station.

1937 boathouse, located on the Frederica River, was destroyed by fire on October 13, 1993.
