The Virginia Beach Station House was built in 1903
This Quonochontaug Station House was designed by George R. Tolman
Station closed in 1969. Station house survives and is the Old Coast Guard Station, a museum.
The original roof lookout tower was replaced by a Duluth Type tower probably in the early 1900s. Station house was moved 100 yards south to its present location in 1979.
