Station closed in 1937 at this site and moved to a new location. 1886 station house survives at this site and is privately owned. Station still active at new site.

Station Site Notes:

1872 site selected and in the process of construction; 1873 completed and equipped 1/1873; 1886 reconstructed and enlarged (USLSS Annual Reports). First keeper appointed 12/12/1872 (USCG Historian's Website). Operated only as a seasonal detachment from Station Point Judith since 1986.
