Station closed in 1941? and abandoned in 1946. 1871 station house survives but has been moved off site and is owned by the Town of Southampton. 1912 station house survives at this site and is the Neptune Beach Club.

Station Site Notes:

1872 completed and with apparatus; 1878 repaired; 1886 contracts entered for repairs and enlargements; 1887 repairs made to boathouse; 1912 station rebuilt to replace decayed and antiquated building (USLSS Annual Reports). Station and grounds were abandoned in 1946 (USCG Historian's Website).
