The Washington Island Station Site site was established in 1991
Station still active. 1980s? station house survives and is a seasonal (small) station under Station Sturgeon Bay Canal. Replaced Plum Island Station.
Station Site Notes:
Station Small Washington Island is a seasonal station open from Memorial Day to Labor Day. During this time, the station is manned by active duty and reserve ?summer stock? personnel. The station is located in a remodeled chalet in Detroit Harbor on the southern end of Washington Island (Station Website).
