The Coos Bay Station House was built in 1916 (at 3rd site)
This One-of-a-Kind Station House was designed by C.O.S.
Station closed in 1982 at this site and moved to a new location. 1916 station house survives and is owned by the University of Oregon’s Institute of Marine Biology.
Station house is used as a marine research facility and short-term residence for visiting scientists.
