This Barge Station House was designed by U.S. Coast Guard
Station still active. Station house was on a floating barge and may have been replaced in the early 2000s by IMARV (Independent Marine Response Vessel) Taylors Island, a floating station. Some of station’s crew may have moved to Oxford Station at that time.
