Station closed in 1940 and turned over to the Department of the Interior in 1948. Site may be part of Gamble Rogers Memorial State Recreation Area at Flagler Beach. 1885 station house does not survive.

Station Site Notes:

1884 contract entered into; 1886 put into operation; discontinued 3/30/18(?) (USLSS Annual Reports). Turned over to the Department of the Interior in 1948; station was placed in inactive status in 1918 and was reactivated in 1924 (USCG Historian's Website).
