The Point of Woods Station House was built in 1916
This Chatham 1 Station House was designed by Victor Mindeleff
Station closed in 1936. Station house and boathouse sold and moved to Ocean Bay Park in 1946(?) to become part of Flynn’s Hotel, now the Fire Island Hotel and Resort.
Station house is part of the Fire Island Hotel and Resort.
