The Portage Station House was built in 1902 (at 2nd site)
This Marquette Station House was designed by Albert B. Bibb
Station closed between 1988 and 1992 at this site and moved to a new location. Station house survives but is not used.
The National Park Service wants to acquire the station as part of Keweenaw National Historical Park for park and community uses.
