Station closed in 1915 at this site and moved to a new location. 1882 station house does not survive.

Station Site Notes:

1879 site selected; 1881 near completion; 1882 completed and put into operation; 1913 rebuilding of station still underway; 1914 rebuilding temporarily suspended until further appropriations; 1915 contract made for rebuilding station (USLSS Annual Reports). Station was discontinued in 1941 (USCG Historian's Website).
