The Vermilion Station House was built in 1876
This 1876 Lake Superior Station House was designed by J. Lake Parkinson
Station closed in 1944 and sold in 1947. Stations site is the Vermilion Point Nature Preserve, owed by the Little Traverse Conservancy, Inc. Station house survives but is abandoned.
