Moose Peak Station Site

Also known as Moose Peak
The Moose Peak Station Site site was established in 1947
Station closed in 1965 and replaced by Station Jonesport. Station buildings intentionally blown up in 1982 during a military training exercise.
Station Site Notes:
Most of Mistake Island (21 acres) is now owned by The Nature Conservancy with only a small portion (5.98 acres) owned by the U.S. Coast Guard.
