Station still active. 1886 station house survives but was moved to a new site in 1938 and is privately owned. 1932 station was torn down in the early 1990s. 1992 station house was destroyed by fire in February 2002. 2004 station house survives.

Station Site Notes:

1888 under contract for construction, to be put into operation before end of fiscal year; 1889 completed but not yet put into operation; 1890 equipped and placed into commission (USLSS Annual Reports). This original building was used until a new larger 10,000 square foot facility was built in 1992. This structure was accidentally burned down February 1, 2002 with no loss of life or injuries. The current building was commissioned in July of 2004 (USCG Historian's Website).
