Station closed in 1946. Transferred to the Fish and Wildlife Service in 1949 as part of Parker River National Wildlife Refuge. Station buildings torn down by Fish and Wildlife Service in 1987.

Station Site Notes:

1890 under contract or construction; 1891 completed and put into operation; 1916 contract awarded for new buildings or extensive repairs (USLSS Annual Reports). Abandoned in 1952 (USCG Historian's Website). Station leased to Camp Sea Haven, a facility for children with infantile paralysis (polio), camp closed in 1987 and buildings removed (Parker River National Wildlife Refuge Website).
